Research and Development of Subcritical Water Extraction in Plant Phenolic Compounds

Subcritical water was regarded as a kind of non-toxic,clean-up and low-cost solvent,which has been applied for extraction of nutraceutical products.As a special nutraceutical products,most of plant phenolic compounds present great antioxidant capacity.Subcritical water has been proved good to extract plant phenolic compounds according to the many results of research.We reviewed mechanisms and parameters affecting extraction of subcritical water extraction,besides,research and development of subcritical water extraction in nutraceutical phenolic compounds were also been summarized.
