Study on the Extraction of Berberine from Coptis chinensis by Microwave

Objective To study the application effect on extraction of Berberine from Coptis chinensis by microwave technology. Methods Based on the single factors test and orthogonal test,the effect of different factors on extraction of berberine from Coptis chinensis was studied by microwave technology,and optimize extracting conditions were got.Results When microwave oven was at high fire with material and solvent ratio 1:30 for 10 min,the extracting rate increased 42.2%.Conclusion The berberine of coptis chinensis is extracted by microwave,which can save time and enhance extract -efficiency,save organic solvent and reduce the use of energy.
