Synthesis of 5-Norbornene-2-carboxaldehyde

2-Chloro-5-chloromethylpyridine was known as an important intermediate of insecticide such as imidacloprid,acetamiprid and thiacloprid.5-Norbornene-2-carboxaldehyde was the first intermediate of 2-chloro-5-chloromethylpyridine synthesized through dicyclopentadiene-acrylic aldehyde method.5-Norbornene-2-carboxaldehyde was prepared by acrylic aldehyde and dicyclopentadiene,the optimum reaction conditions were obtained via orthogonal experiments.The effect of the proportion of raw materials,the reaction temperature and the reaction time on the reactions were investigated.The incubated temperature was further examined,and the optimum incubation temperature was obtained.
