The Application of Accumulative Roll Bonding and Its Problems

Accumulative roll bonding(ARB) is a method of severe plastic deformation(SPD).It achieves severe plastic deformation in metallic materials by repeating roll bonding.The ultra-fine grains can be produced.It has a strong impact on the microstructure and mechanical properties of materials.The present paper introduces the process of the ARB and analyzes the current researches and existent problems.
