Upgrade of Monitoring System for 500 kV Shuanglong Substation

To improve the operational reliability and automation level of the monitoring system for 500 kV Shuanglong Substation,the upgrade scheme of the monitoring system is proposed so as to address the problems that occur in the operation.The method of smooth transition is applied in the upgrade,which gradually replaces the original monitoring system with a new one.The potential problems in the upgrade are analyzed and countermeasures are formulated.The new system runs steadily after the upgrade and achieves the goal.
