Determination the Concentration of Sodium Benzoate in Vinegar by Differential UV Spectrophotometry

A method for the determination of sodium benzoate in vinegar by differential UV spectrophotometry was established.A standard curve was drawn with vinegar free of sodium benzoate as the background.After vinegar products were treated with ether,the content of sodium benzoate in them was determined.This method is simple,quick and with reliable results.
