Application of RBF Neural Networks in the Fruit Color Sorting Machine

As color is one of the most important index in sorting fruit,this paper presents a novel sorting method using RBF-ANN to improve the color sorting performance.The advantage of this proposed method is better than those based on BP network from theoretic analysis.The simulation test through apples sorting in the last part also proves its effectiveness and superiority.
