ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis of Enamine Esters.

Abstract In the presence of Et2NMgBr, which is formed by reacting Et2NH with EtMgBr, the enolized forms of the esters (II), which are stabilized by Et2NMgBr add to the aryl nitriles (I) to yield the title compounds (III) ‐ useful synthons for the preparation of heterocycles.
