Injectable Hydrogels Osteoarthritis affects millions worldwide and currently lacks effective minimally invasive therapies capable of restoring hyaline cartilage. In the Research Article workers (DOI: 10.1002/adhm.202505390), Pooya Davoodi and co-workers report a biomimetic dual-layer, injectable, and bio-adhesive hydrogel encapsulating platelet lysate that mimics the native cartilage extracellular matrix. Upon injection into cartilage defects, the hydrogel supports chondrocyte activity and promotes cartilage-like tissue formation, offering a promising minimally invasive strategy for cartilage regeneration and delaying end-stage joint replacement.
