摘要
Thermoregulation is critical to the survival of all mammalian species. Through sweating, humans are able to dissipate heat generated during physical activity and increased environmental temperature. There are 2 types of sweating, thermoregulatory and emotional, which are differentially triggered and regulated in the CNS through sympathetic outputs, and affect different populations of sweat glands.
