摘要
Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) is a structured approach used to identify and analyze potential failure modes of a system and their effects on system performance. In the paper, an FMEA approach is used for an Electric Converted Vehicle (ECV) to identify potential failure modes that could occur due to the conversion process and their effects on the vehicle's operation. In the work potential failure modes of the electrical and mechanical systems, such as the battery, electric motor, and transmission, and evaluating their severity, occurrence probability, and detection likelihood are studied. The FMEA helped to prioritize the issues with the current design and inclusion of additional safety features to minimize the impact of potential failures on the vehicle's operation.
