摘要
ABSTRACT PANoptosis is a multimodal form of cell death that involves inflammatory, apoptotic, and necroptotic pathways, playing a key role in the development of liver diseases. This article first outlines the definition and characteristics of PANoptosis, and then explores its mechanisms of action in different types of liver diseases, including acute liver injury, liver failure, metabolic dysfunction‐associated fatty liver disease, and hepatocellular carcinoma. Furthermore, this article analyses the molecular regulatory network of PANoptosis and potential therapeutic targets. Finally, this article summarises the current research on PANoptosis in liver diseases and future research directions, and it reviews the role of the emerging cell death mechanism of PANoptosis in liver diseases.
