摘要
Low contrast, edge blur, and noise in infrared images are addressed by a welding image improvement technique based on guided filter and contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE). First, edge detection is used to identify the region of interest and apply gamma correction to alter the image's brightness. Second, use a guided filter to obtain the base picture. Then, use the difference between the base image and the original image to generate the detail image. Finally, apply the gaussian filter algorithm to process the noise in the base image. To obtain the desired outcome, finally apply CLAHE to improve the base image and stack it linearly with the detail image. According to experimental findings, the suggested technique can successfully increase image contrast, produce a higher visual impact for the image, and perform well in many evaluation indexes.
