Report of the Committee on the Dyeing Properties of Disperse Dyes III—Disperse Dyes on Nylon

Three tests are prescribed for assessing the dyeing properties of disperse dyes on nylon fibres. The tests are to determine migration, temperature‐range properties and rate of dyeing. They are designed to correspond to practical dyeing conditions and to permit individual dyes to be rated on an A‐E scale. Assessment is based on the use of the SDC Grey Scale for assessing Change in Colour.
