Abstract Pituitary adenomas (PAs) hypersecrete hormones or cause mass effect symptoms, with 10%–35% patients showing resistance to standard therapies. Targeting epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) has significantly improved the clinical outcome in many cancers.
