Aim To study the difference of three branch lesion and complete occlusion lesion in angiography between Chinese and Australian. Methods Total of 3 021 patients suspected with coronary artery disease from Nanjing and 3 230 patients from Australia were adopted for quantitative coronary angiography. The coronary lesion was evaluated by the location of the lesion, and Gensini score. Results (1) three branch lesion, complete occlusion lesion and Gensini scores of Australian were higher than those of Chinese(P0.01);(2)three branch lesion, complete occlusion lesion and Gensini scores of Chinese males were higher than those of females, three branch lesion, complete occlusion lesion and Gensini scores of Australian males were higher than those of females(P0.01);(3)three branch lesion、complete occlusion lesion and Gensini scores of Australian males were higher than those of Chinese males;three branch lesion、complete occlusion lesion and Gensini scores of Australian females were higher than those of Chinese females(P0.01). Conclusions Coronary artery lesion of Australian patients were more severe than those of Chinese;Three branch lesion, complete occlusion lesion and Gensini scores of Australian and Chinese males were higher than those of Australian and Chinese females;Three branch lesion, complete occlusion lesion and Gensini scores of Australian males were more severe than those of Chinese males and three branch lesion, complete occlusion lesion and Gensini scores of Australian females were also more severe than those of Chinese females.
