Hydrothermal synthesis of amorphous alumina-silicate powder with special morphology

Taking Al_2(SO_4)_3·(14～18)H_2O as Al source, Na_2SiO_3·5H_2O as Si source,and adding with some aliphatic polyalcohol,a kind of powder solid was synthesized in hydrothermal conditions of 200℃ for 14 hours at fitted pH value adjusted by NaOH solution.The XRD result showed that the powder solid was amorphous,and the SEM images showed that most of the powders were sphere particles consisted of thin plates which were 200～300nm in thickness.The powder was a kind of alumina-silicate with special morphology.
