This article,through the statistical analysis of the number of articles co-authored and the articles on empirical research in six influential Chinese and foreign educational journals,unfolds the cooperation in research home and abroad in the last five years,and reaches the following basic conclusions: 1.The frequency of cooperation research by overseas researchers is much higher than that for the domestic education researchers;2.The cooperation frequency for empirical study is higher than that for non-empirical studies,overseas empirical researchers incline to conduct much more cooperation research than domestic empirical researchers;3.Overseas education researchers attach more importance to empirical research than domestic researchers.It is also found that the proportion of empirical research articles in the domestic education research magazines was steadily arising in the last five years.
