Comparison between the Odor and Composition of Famous-region and Unfamous-region Drugs of Radix Angelica sinensis

AIM The purpose is to campare the odor composition of famous region with unfamous region \%Radix angelica\%. METHOD GC and GC MS was used to analyze the two sorts of \%Angelica sinensis\%. RESULTS More than 100 components have been identified. The results showed that there were more than 30 kinds of component which were the same, and the others were different. CONCLUSION The odor and composition of famous region and unfamous region\% Radix Angelica sinensis\% are not the same. That is reason why it should be empharized the genuine herbal drugs in Chinese medicine.
