Taking trimethylbenzene precise distillation for example,a new heat integration technology for energy saving was put forward.Trimethylbenzene three-column distillation had been established and simulated by applying the software PRO/Ⅱ,and the results showed that the data of simulation agreed with the actual process well and the simulative process was accurate enough.Compared with the former process which operated under normal pressure,the new process under differential pressure could make good use of the heat integration.With the heat load as an objective process and the pressure as optimal parameters,the energy-saving for the distillation system would be carried out by the new process.The simulative results indicated that the new process with that heat integration technology could save energy more than 35%.
