Novel Synthesis of Fluoroalkylated α,β-Unsaturated Ketones by the Oxygenative Perfluoroalkylation of α-Chlorostyrenes

Abstract The photochemical reaction of perfluoroalkyl iodide with α-chlorostyrenes in the presence of hexabutylditin under oxygen atmosphere produced fluoroalkylated α,β-unsaturated ketones in moderate to good yields.
