Russia's Place in the International Automotive Industry

The international automotive industry has a well-developed and complex infrastructure. At the same time, while the automotive industry is one of the key sectors of the economy in some countries, in others it is just developing, and in still others it is in a state of stagnation. The article gives a forecast of the automotive industry's development for groups of countries, including Russia, identifies macroeconomic factors that affect the development of the automotive industry, and groups automobile-producing countries according to their results for 2010.
