摘要
Calcium gallioaluminate glasses containing either 63 or 67 mol % CaO and varying ratios of Ga2O3 to Al2O3 have been formed. The glass transformation temperature of these glasses decreases as gallia replaces alumina, whereas the thermal expansion coefficient, refractive index, density, and infrared cutoff wavelength increase. A slight mixed cation effect appears in the compositional dependence of the glass transformation temperature. These results will be discussed in terms of the structures of these glasses.
