Synthesis of Suitably-Protected Phosphoramidites of 2′-Fluoro-2′-Deoxyguanosine and 2′-Amino-2′-Deoxyguanosine for Incorporation Into Oligoribonucleotides

A novel synthesis of 2′-fluoro-2′-deoxyguanosine employing DAST as the fluorinating agent is presented. The preparation of its phosphoramidite as well as that of 2′-amino-2′-deoxyguanosine is also described.
