THE USE OF ALLYLICGROUP AS A PROTECTING GROUP FOR THE MULTIHYDROXY COMPOUNDS

The allylic protecting group,which could be formed and removed to hydroxy and amino groups under mild reaction conditions with good regionselectivity and chemicoselectivity,has been used widely in organic synthesis recently.In this paper,the development of the allylic group used as protecting group has been introduced,the selective protection of allylic to different hydroxy groups of multihydroxy compounds has been reviewed,the mechanisms and methods of formation and removal of allylic protecting groups has been expounded.
