Importance of Animal Feed in the Control of the Hazards of Animal Health and Public Health

Animal feed is an important part in the safe production of food of animal origin.The control of hazards in animal feed should be strengthened to ensure the animal health and public health.After translating and coordinating the related sections of Terrestrial Animal Health Code(2009) by OIE,this article emphasized the importance of animal feed in the control of the hazards of animal health and public health,and introduced the general principles in the regulation of animal feed by OIE.The objective was to draw attention on the hazards of animal feed,and to provide reference for further perfecting the control measures of animal feed.
