Advances of the Detecting Techniques of Aristolochic Acid

To analyze and evaluate the testing technique in aristolochic acid analogues, this paper gave a review on the test methods of aristolochic acid in herds, such as high performance liquid chromatography( HPLC), reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography( RP-HPLC), high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray triple quadrupole mass spectrometry, tandem mass spectrometry, RP- HPLC dual gradient elution method and UV spectrophotometry. Finally, it was recommended to use HPLC method to determine aristolochic acids analogues.
