Process conditions affecting dyeing results during microencapsulated disperse dyeing were analyzed, and reuse of the dyeing effluents was investigated. Results showed that, release rate of microencapsulated disperse dyes was related to temperature, and the optimum dyeing temperature was 130 ℃;particle size of microencapsulated disperse dyes had great influence on release property of disperse dyes, adding diffusing agent could improve release property of disperse dyes;polyester dyed with microencapsulated disperse dyes without auxiliary and rinsing could obtain similar dyeing effect to that of traditional disperse dyeing;the chroma,COD and BOD value of dyeing residual liquid were much lower than those of traditional disperse dyeing and could be reused in dyeing, pretreatment and finishing.
