Recent progress of polyimide target capsules for inertial confinement fusion

Recent research and application of polyimide target capsules used for inertial confinement fusion(ICF) experiments have been summarized.The common chemical structures of the polyimide capsules,fabrication process,and the existing application problems of polyimide capsules were presented.At the same time,the development trend of the polyimide capsules was suggested.
