Study on Synthesis of 5-Amino-1-(2,6-dichloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-pyrazole-3-carbonitrile

Using 2,6-dichloro-4-trifluOrOmethylanlline and ethyl 2,3-dicyanOprOpiOnate as raw materials.the insecticide intermediate of fipronil 5-amino-1一(2,6-dlichloro-4一 (trifluoromethyl)phenyl)一pyrazole-3-carbonitrile was synthesized.The objective product was Iight yellow crystal.with 1he yield 0f 91.4%and melting point 0f 142～143℃.The improved new method had a simple operation with reduced amount of waste acid and highly toxic reagents used.
