Research on mechanical characteristics of unloading rock mass by numerical simulation method

The mechanical characteristics of unloading rock mass include nonlinearity,anisotropy and so on,and have many differences between assumptions and experiment results with the routine rock mass.The numerical simulation method is used to research the mechanical characteristics of unloading rock mass.The importance of researching the mechanical characteristics of unloading rock mass is described;the conditions of loading and unloading in numerical simulation are studied.Numerical simulation model is established by using ADINA.Analyzing the model and comparing with the experimental result,the law about mechanical characteristics of unloading rock mass is obtained.
