Improved Synthesis of 2,6-Oligopyridines by Stille Cross-coupling Reaction

All articles of this category 2,6-Oligopyridines have been synthesized in moderate to good yields by Stille cross-coupling reaction in two steps from commercially available materials. This approach provides the highest yield in 5,5’’-dimethyl-2,2’:6’,2’’-terpyridine as compared to the methods previously reported.
