All articles of this category 2,6-Oligopyridines have been synthesized in moderate to good yields by Stille cross-coupling reaction in two steps from commercially available materials. This approach provides the highest yield in 5,5’’-dimethyl-2,2’:6’,2’’-terpyridine as compared to the methods previously reported. Unsubstituted 2,2’:6’,2’’:6’’,2’’’:6’’’,2’’’’:6’’’’,2’’’’’:6’’’’’,2’’’’’’-septipyridine has been prepared for the first time. Oligopyridines - Stille reaction
