摘要
In increasingly sophisticated urban environments, smart cities emerged as a focal point for innovation and sustainability. This chapter investigates the role of education in fostering sustainable urban futures through curricula that respond to the dynamic needs. The convergence of technology, pedagogy, and sustainability within educational frameworks is pivotal in preparing learners to navigate and contribute to advanced urban landscapes. Sustainable curriculum design incorporates principles of environmental stewardship, economic viability, and social equity. This chapter examines how integrating these principles into educational programs cultivates a sustainability mindset among learners, preparing them for active participation in sustainable development. It explores the role of smart technologies, innovative pedagogies, and ecological literacy in enhancing educational outcomes.
