Visible light-driven heterogeneous semiconductor CdS photocatalyzed defluorinative acylation reaction for the synthesis of γ,γ-difluoroallylic ketones

We demonstrate a visible-light-mediated synthetic protocol using a recyclable CdS photocatalyst to access γ,γ-difluoroallylic ketones with broad scope, economical, and good scalability, providing a sustainable alternative to precious-metal systems.
