Synthesis of Enol Esters through Silver-catalyzed or -mediated Hydroacyloxylation of Internal Alkynes

The silver-catalyzed hydroacyloxylation of internal alkynes with tertiary alkanoic acids proceeds stereoselectively to produce (Z)-enol esters. α,β-Unsaturated carboxylic acids and benzoic acids also undergo silver-mediated addition toward alkynes effectively.
