The main topic of this Diploma Thesis is occupational contentment of the employees of the Medical Rescue Service Zlin. The Thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical parts. In the theoretical part there have been clarified terms such as: occupational contentment, met-hods of measurement of the occupational contentment, factors of occupational con-tentment, the consequences of occupational contentment and researches being done in this field. Hereby, the term of The Medical Rescue Servicehas been defined as well. The Practical part focuses on explorational research of the level of overall occupational contentment and the level of occupational contentment within particular factors of the em-ployees of the Medical Rescue Service Zlin ,as well as on the investigation of the diffe-rences between the levels of occupational contentment within particular working categories and according to the length of their praxis.
