Permutation Polynomials and Their Compositional Inverses

In this paper, we provide a new general method of finding the compositional inverses of permutation polynomials with special types, and some new permutation polynomials and their compositional inverses are given. Moreover, we obtain a similar result to that of Wan and Lidl for other permutation polynomials over finite fields and we determine their group structure.
