摘要
Abstract To address increasing data traffic and the need for reduced power consumption in data centers, co‑packaged optics (CPO) has attracted significant attention. In CPO, architectures employing external laser sources have been suggested, and they require high‑power lasers operating in the 1.3 μm band with single‑mode emission as light sources. We have developed a 1.3 μm high power DFB laser which exhibits a power conversion efficiency of 21% with an output power of 200 mW up to 75 °C. The power conversion efficiency remains at 21% when the output power is increased to 400 mW up to 50 °C.
