Study on Engineering Properties of Limed Phosphogypsum by Indoor Tests

The chemical composition of phosphogypsum is analyzed in the paper.Through standard proctor compaction test,it is found that the optional water ratio increases linearly as the content of hydrated lime increases;the consolidation test results show that hydrated lime can decrease the compaction ratio of phosphogypsum.;the internal friction angle of phosphogypsum increases with the increase of hydrated lime.This paper also analyzes the chemical reactions occurs in the binders of phosphogypsum and hydrated lime,and the environmental protection effect of hydrated lime.Based on comprehensive comparisons the reasonable hydrated lime contents are presented.
