A study of the production process for fabricating liner plates with high wear-resistant bainitic cast steel

A bainitic cast steel containing Cr-Mn-Si as its major alloying elements and other trace elements was developed for fabricating liner plates.The microstructure of the steel normalized at 1080 ℃ followed by tempering at 200~250 ℃ was composed of bainite,ferrite and retained austenite,and its tensile strength,hardness and impact toughness were 1 600 MPa,49 HRC and AKU36J.Cr-Mn-Si steel has excellent wear-resistance and is an ideal candidate for fabricating liner plates.
