Fluorescence Properties of Dysprosium(III)-1,10-Bis(1′-Phenyl-3′- Methyl-5′-Oxopyrazol-4′-Yl)-1,10-Decanedione Cetyltrimethyl Ammonium Bromide System and Its Analytical Application

Abstract The fluorescence properties of Dy(Ⅲ)-1,10-bis(1′-phenyl-3′-methyl-5′-oxopyrazol-4′-yl)-1,10-decanedione (BPMPDD)-cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTMAB) system have been studied.The composition of the fluorescence system was determined to be 1∶2∶1 (Dy∶BPMPDD∶CTMAB) and the influence of some factors on the system is investigated.The system is used for the spectrofluorimetric determination of Dy(Ⅲ) and the fluorescence intensity was a linear function of the concentration of Dy(Ⅲ) in the range of 2 0×10 -6 4 0×10 -9 mol·L -1 .The detection limit was 3 3×10 -10 mol·L -1 .The system was used for the determination of Dy(Ⅲ) in synthetic rare earth sample with satisfactory result. :fluorescence analysis;dysprosium(Ⅲ);1,10-bis(1′-phenyl-3′-methyl-5′-oxopyrazol-4′-ly)-1,10-decanedione;cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide.
