Study on the Condition for Preparing Styrene via Ethylbenzene Dehydrogenation

The relationships of the conversion of ethylbenzene dehydrogenation to styrene with iron oxide as catalyst,the selectivity of styrene and temperature and feed ratio are investigated.It has been proved that the ethylbenzene conversion is influenced by both temperature and feed ratio but the styrene selectivity is mainly affected by reaction temperature.It is also important to improve the conversion and selectivity by selecting suitable feed ratio.
