Progress in Research on Risks of Pesticide Fipronil and Its Application

Fipronil was a relatively new and higher efficacious pesticide with widespread utility.With wide application of fipronil,the coming problems of ecological risks and environmental pollution were increasingly serious,and fipronil was also provided with chronic neurotoxicity.So it was very important to study the ecologica1 risk of fipronil.In this paper,some viewpoints of the researches on fipronil were introduced.The application,risks and degradation mechanisms of fipronil were summarized.
