Appearance comparison of adult was made between Thailand population and Burma popluation The results showed that the cephalothorax of Burma population was relatively smaller,and the dactyl length and prododus length of major second pereropod were larger than those of Thailand population,which proved Burma population had stronger activity and ability to get food.And body weight and body length,as well as egg carrying amount of any female of Burma population were larger than those of Thailand population.These characteristics of Burma population proved its dominant position in culture and breeding.After being cultivated for years,Thailand population still remained some fine characteristics.However,some quality deterioration also appeared to Thailand population.Nowadays,Burma population could be considered as a new cultivated population.Keeping the fine characters of Burma population is needed in the process of cultivation.
