A new adenosyl-alkaloid, ostrerine A (1), has been isolated along with an amino acid, tryptophan (2) and a ribonucleoside, 2′-deoxythymidine (3) from the Quanzhou marine mollusk, Ostrea rivularis, and the structures were elucidated by 1D and 2D NMR experiments, including 1H-1H COSY, TOCSY, NOESY, HMQC, and HMBC methods.
