Mg ions intercalated with V3O7·H2O to construct ultrastable cathode materials for aqueous zinc-ion batteries

MgVO is synthesized using a direct hydrothermal method. Mg 2+ ions function as pillars within the layered vanadium oxide, increasing the interlayer spacing and enhancing structural stability, thereby reducing the risk of structural collapse.
