Impact of quantity and source of dietary protein intake within a healthy dietary pattern on cardiovascular disease risk factors in Singapore older adults: a randomized controlled trial

: Adherence to an HPD, particularly from soy protein, within an HDP supports the maintenance of the lipid-lipoprotein profile and CVD risk predictors among Singapore older adults. These findings highlight HPD as a potential dietary strategy to promote cardiovascular health when adhering to an HDP in older adults; however, the source of protein may influence its effectiveness.
