摘要
This study reviews previous studies on the impacts of lighting on the human's sleeping condition. The effects of lighting on the human condition have been the focus of research for the past decades to improve the health and wellness of its user. Current studies that include the lighting intensity, correlated color temperature, and lighting type were found to affect human's circadian rhythm related to wake and sleep patterns. They were subsequently reviewed in terms of each category, compared to the previous related experiment, and recommendations for future improvement. The result shows that adolescents are more sensitive to lighting environments than adults. In addition, the illuminance level needs to be designed according to the time to improve a significant quality of sleep.
