摘要
According to the characteristics of the halo phenomenon of Mini‐LED partition backlit LCD display, we measure the luminance and distribution of the halo by using the measurement method established before, and further analyze the influencing factors. Based on the hardware characteristics of this type of display, we extract three factors that affect the intensity of the halo, which are the luminance of the display area, the native contrast of the display panel and the number or size of the backlight partition. We designed and carried out the halo visual perception evaluation experiment according to the influencing factors of the halo, and further established the halo sensitivity model, which took the width and luminance of the halo as independent variables, and the predicted value of the halo was highly correlated with the evaluation value (R 2 >0.90). Finally, we analyzed the influence trend of various factors on the intensity of the halo through the established model, and proposed a hardware‐based halo improvement scheme. At the same time, the model also helped to establish the evaluation standard of the halo.
