'Ring This Bell if You Want to Save Our Planet' is a visual essay that explores the impact of Covid-19 restrictions on the Lower Lea Valley in East London. Its focus is to observe the impact on the environment and individual behaviour in the era of lockdown. The essay commences at the beginning of lockdown in March and continues through to the release of lockdown in the summer and its re-imposition in November. Observing the experience of lockdown has unearthed some surprises and it will leave some permanent markers in the landscape.
